Artisan Bio: I am originally from Bryson City, NC and for the past 24 years have lived in the Burke/Catawba County area. I received BA ED and MA ED degrees from Western Carolina University. While working full time as a Registered Dietitian, I began taking watercolor classes at CVCC in Hickory. My first painting was inspired by a trip to the balloon rally in Statesville. Paintings of favorite landscapes and objects from nature soon followed. An interest in photography aided in the creation of my paintings.
My love of flowers and the beauty of the landscape has inspired me to paint realistic and detailed watercolors.
